Tasting
Notes |
|
The eye observes an intense brilliant ruby-red color. The nose perceives aromas
of mature fruit, vanilla and spices. On the pallet it has a great concentration and round tannins which
give it a silky sensation. The finish is persistent and well-balanced. |
Food
Accompaniments |
|
For many exquisite dishes but never forget to try it with chocolate as well as
salmon. |

88 pts Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (ST) Bright dark red. Dark fruits, licorice and spices on the nose. Supple, sweet and fine-grained, offering a plump texture and moderate nuance. A soft and accessible entry-level wine, finishing with a fine dusting of tannins. |
Winemaker Notes |
Antucra is the “little Jewel” of the Uco Valley located in the region of vista Flores.
The name originates from the Pehuenche tribe who called the vineyard rocks “sun stones.” Our Malbec
defines a moreelegant style which can be found in our vineyards of blue stones and limestone soils. It
is layed with plums and blueberries. We use a selection of only the best grapes taken from two sorting tables. We extend the post fermentation maceration for up to 30 days to ensure the soft tannin structure. |
