Although this is quite a full-bodied and richly textured Mendoza red it has some healthy dry tannins that support all this very nicely. A wide range of blue, black and some dried red fruits. Drink now.

Very dark, saturated red. Musky aromas of plum, menthol, chocolate and
herbs, plus a hint of black olive. Plush, broad, mouthcoating wine with an enticing sweetness to its
blackberry and chocolate flavors. Finishes with fairly smooth, round tannins and good length. There’s a
subtle coolness to this wine that contributes suavity.

The 2014 La Follie is a multi-grape blend of
Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Half of the volume matured in French barriques for some 12 months. It’s balanced and approachable, with nice spiciness, and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins. 20,000 bottles produced.
