Awards, Reviews and other Notes

87 pts Stephen Tanzerz International Wine Cellar (ST)
Very pale, green-tinged yellow. Subtle aromas of pear, mint and white flowers, with a minerally nuance. Bright, supple and quite dry, with modest complexity but good purity to the lemon and floral flavors. A rather laid-back torrontes that's very easy to drink.

87 pts Robert Parker, Jr.'s The Wine Advocate #191 (JM)
Fragrant tropical, muscat-like aromas; good flavors, lively acidity, balanced, medium long.

Winemaker Notes

Torrontés is Argentina’s signature white wine varietal. It flourishes in the province of Salta and in the plains of Mendoza. There are several clones of Torrontés. We decided to plant the Medocino clone which is best suited for our climate and soils. The grapes are fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve its lively fruit acidity and floral bouquet.
